about

The Eligible Bachelors is an EP from another place and time. A place where maximum security prison inmates top the Cleo bachelor of the year lists. And a time when people didn’t occupy Wall Street, they were bought and sold on it. Lust was just a four letter word and love was just a six letter word. There were no connotations just an urban dictionary edited by the gods. And the gods weren’t in people’s heads; they roamed the earth and in the evenings played bingo in an abandoned Big Brother house.

Track Name: God's Gift
I see you looking back at me
You steal my heart then run away
I hear your voice, so loud and clear
You miss me? Well, come back and stay

I like it now that you’re so near
I’ve always wanted it this way
I love to extinguish your fears
I like the power I’ve got nowadays

If I had money I’d buy myself
If I had some left I’d buy you as well
With such devotion you should fall at my feet
They say guys like me don’t come every week

Admit that I have won you back
As I whisper in your ear
I’d like you to admit that I’m not all bad
Or, I forgive you and let’s just leave it at that

If I had money I’d buy myself
If I had some left I’d buy you as well
With such devotion you should fall at my feet
They say guys like me don’t come every week
Track Name: Blow the Coals
Would you date me if you knew
That your picture is on my wall?
It’s not the case, not the case at all
Just curious because of your fame

I work from home nowadays
It’s the good life and bloody hell it pays
I used to have a double bed
But my last girl didn’t like it so I did what she said

Blow the coals to make a flame
With common folk we can forget fame
Babe I feel the wave rolling in
Mistakes don’t mean nothing when you win

For you I will replace the track pants
With jeans for just one day
It’s kind of a bigger deal than you think
But I will change right now before you can blink

Blow the coals to make a flame
With common folk we can forget fame
Babe I feel the wave rolling in
Mistakes don’t mean nothing when you win
Track Name: Alcatraz Blues
A shit, a shower and a shave
This place sure teach a man how to behave
Put on those white standard issue shoes
Yeah, put on the Alcatraz blues

Fireworks and laughter on New Year’s Eve
Lonesome evenings with a bible make some men believe
It don’t even matter if it ain’t true
Put on the Alcatraz blues

Boozing down on Fishermans Wharf
Alcohol sure make a man talk
Cross your heart and pay your dues
Yeah, put on the Alcatraz blues

Nights of planning and getaway schemes
Sometimes a man got nothing except his dreams
Sailing or surfing in Santa Cruz
Yeah, put on the Alcatraz blues

Early on some men start winning
Early on some men, their hair starts thinning
Yeah, some men just start to lose
They put on the Alcatraz blues
Track Name: Another One Gone
Worlds and words are lost
Tripping on my solitude
Places named after faces
Can’t make up for it... no no no
Another one gone, another one gone

Please don’t call me

People sold can’t imagine the cost
Keel over belly laugh solitude
And typing a million smiley faces
Can’t make up for it... no no no
Another one gone, another one gone

Please don’t call me
